Lime Point Historic Lighthouse
Lime Point Historic Lighthouse is a very underrated location to see the Golden Gate Bridge. Most people will direct you to Battery Spencer (which is also beautiful) or official lookout points. Even Google only has 60 reviews! Bonus, it's in Sausalito, so you can spend the day shopping, eating, and taking even more photos.

How to get here from San Francisco: Get on the Golden Gate Bridge and take the first exit to Bunker Rd in Marin County. Take the hill down to Murray Circle and park right before the fenced area.
Distance from Union Square San Francisco: 30 minutes

This *Special* Spot at the Palace of Fine Arts
Okay, I know the Palace of Fine Arts is THE place to get a picture taken, but trust me, this one spot is the best and very underrated! Tucked away from the structure are various trails, magnolia trees, and florals around the pond. Just outside of these trails, you will find the old Exploratorium, now event venue. This is your golden spot - pillars surrounding the Palace, perfect lighting from the aforementioned magnolias, and best of all, low foot traffic.
